Martin Gordon and Eamonn Byrne lit up their heat with a new PB in the 1000m TT
The tandem pair of Martin Gordon and Eamonn Byrne lit up their heat with a new personal best in the 1000m time trial. They lined out in the sixth heat of 10 and such was the ferocity of their efforts that they led at that stage. Dunlevy and McCrystal set new National Record in their opening Paralympics event on the track

PB for Ronan Grimes in the 1000m Time Trial
Ronan Grimes has completed his first peddle strokes in competition here in Japan with a new personal best (PB) in the 1000 metre Time Trial. In steep competition at the Izu Veldrome the Athenry man has shown his mettle and achieved his first goal of setting a new PB time of 1:08.262 which was a second and a half faster that his previous best of 1:09.438.Read More -
