How do I join as a member of Cycling Ireland?
How long does membership last?
All memberships expire on the 31st of December regardless of when taken out during the year. Applications for 2022 membership will open in December.
How do I transfer my club?
You can request a transfer through your Cycling Ireland membership profile. Login using your details, select the club transfer button and submit your transfer request. This will need to be approved by both clubs before updating on your profile. If no action is taken by your club then a transfer will automatically process after 21 days. You can also request a transfer to un-attached via your membership profile.
How do I find my membership/licence number?
You can find your membership (licence) number by logging into the membership system here. The number will be displayed on the dashboard after you login. You can use this number for entering events online.
How I upgrade my membership to a competitive licence?
You can upgrade through your membership profile. When logged in select the upgrade licence tile, select the competitive licence which you require and proceed to the checkout. Your previous payment will then be deducted and you will just pay the difference in fee.
I have had an accident, what am I covered for and how do I claim?
Details of the insurance cover and some frequently asked questions are available in detail here. To make a claim, please complete the incident & accident report form here with as much detail as possible. This will then be passed to our insurance broker who will follow up with you directly to process your claim.
Do you offer bike insurance?
Bike insurance is not included as part of membership with Cycling Ireland. You can source this separately through Bikmo who offer a discounted rate for Cycling Ireland members, further details are available here
