Applications for the Active National Grant Scheme for Sport and Physical Activity for Older People 2022 are now open.

This year, we are delighted to have U18’s as advocates for the first time ever! In total, we have selected 5 girls and 5 women for 2022.

Cycling Ireland excepting expressions of interest from riders, male and female, over 18 years old, seeking consideration for further engagement and potentially trialling alongside our High Performance Programmes during 2022. All disciplines are of interest from Paralympics events, Track Sprint/BMX, Endurance (Road and Track), MTB and Cross.

Cycling Ireland and Cycling Ulster in partnership with the Department for Communities and several local councils have launched three new Cycling Hubs in Ulster. The hubs will be utilised for the development of cycling within the province and have been funded by the Department for Communities.

The Sports Club Resilience Fund is open to Cycling Ireland affiliated clubs within the Republic of Ireland. Applications will close at 9am on 21st October 2021.

A gross fund of €130,000 is being set aside for distribution to sports clubs on a twenty-six, county-by-county basis, with successful applicants receiving €5,000 in each case.

The application process for event permits for 2022 is now open. It will remain open for 6 weeks from 6th October to 12th November 2021.
