Cycling Ireland invites riders born in 2005 and 2007 to apply to be part of the 2023 Junior Athlete Development Programme. Now in its third year, the programme is an evidence-based framework delivered by Cycling Ireland’s High Performance coaches and performance experts from multiple disciplines.

Applications are now welcome from Leinster based clubs to host the 2023 Youth Cyclo-cross National Championships and Junior/Senior/Masters National Cyclo-cross Championships.

The final day of racing at the Cyclocross World Championships got underway today with the junior men's race. Ireland was represented in the junior men's race by Liam O'Brien and Travis Harkness.

Cheering crowds greeted the Irish riders at the Cyclocross World Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The support the Irish riders received was incredible adding to the already electric atmosphere.

The UCI Cyclocross World Championships takes place from January 28 -30 with the main events taking place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th. Ireland will be represented by five athletes across the junior and 23 men’s and elite women’s categories.

A team of 5 riders will represent Ireland at the 2022 Cyclocross World Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas from 28-30 January.
