In line with the planned changes for Road Racing for the 2025 season, Cycling Ireland, Road Working Group leads, provinces and calendar leads recently completed the first six-week review of the updated system

One of the most prestigious races on the domestic calendar returns this Easter weekend, and following the success of the 2024 edition, the Dornan Rás Mumhan opens with the Team Time Trial.

With the 2025 road racing season heating up, the attention now turns to Ulster for the much anticipated P.J Logan Cup, hosted by Island Wheelers Cycling Club. Taking place on Sunday, April 13th this National Grade event marks Round 6 of the season and first race of the year in Ulster, promising fast racing on a course that has become a firm favourite in the Irish racing calendar.

Fresh off the intensity of the Des Hanlon Memorial, the Irish road racing season continues with one of the most anticipated races on the calendar, the Donal Crowley and Kay Stratton Memorial Road Race. Hosted by Blarney Cycling Club, the prestigious event takes place on Sunday, April 6th and promises another thrilling day of racing.

Following requests from the growing number of Masters Riders riding road races and time trails across Ireland, we have made the decision to run Demonstration Open National Championships for the 70+ age band.
