Insure your teams and provide peace of mind to employees who cycle to and from work. Our commuter membership packages and benefits are designed to fit your requirements and encourage more team members to choose the bike for their commute.


Exclusive offers and benefits are available to Cycle-Friendly Employers, in partnership with Cycling Solutions Ireland.


Commuter membership is also available to individuals. You can become a member through the Cycling Ireland membership portal today or speak with your employer about receiving Cycle-Friendly Employer accreditation through Cycling Solutions Ireland.

    1. Sign up for €35 on our membership portal


    2. Get cycling


    Public liability cover


    There is an indemnity limit of €6.5 million per incident. An increased limit is available upon request.


    This covers a member for any third party liability or property damage for which they are held legally liable. (a third party is a person not accredited with membership of Cycling Ireland) when you are training, competing or officiating in an approved Cycling Ireland activity. (a €500 excess applies to each claim, to be paid by claimant). There is no cover in respect of any injury or damage suffered by one participant caused by another participant during training activities (please note members can still claim the personal accident cover above in this case).

Commuter Membership Benefits



Public Liability Insurance


This covers a member for any third-party liability or property damage for which they are held legally liable (a third party is a person not accredited with membership of Cycling Ireland) when you are commuting to or from work or for utility purposes only. (a €500 excess applies to each claim, to be paid by the claimant). You are not covered for work as a cyclist e.g. as a courier. A public liability limit of €250,000 applies on any one claim with commuter membership. Upgrade to a Leisure membership for club, group or solo training or to participate in leisure events. Personal accident cover is not available on commuter membership.

Cycle Solutions Ireland are the only EU-licensed Cycle-Friendly accreditor in Ireland.
