The Sport Ireland Intelligence programme is a vital part of the Anti-Doping programme and seeks to collect any information that will assist in the detection, deterrence, enforcement or prevention of an Anti Doping Rule Violation (ADRV).

The WADA Prohibited List is an International Standard issued annually by WADA that identifies classes of substances and methods that are prohibited in-competition, out-of-competition, and in particular sports. Substances and methods are classified by categories (e.g., steroids, stimulants, gene doping).

It is important that an athlete, their parents, coaches and doctors are familiar with the Prohibited List.
