Cycling Ireland eRacing Social Rides

Cycling Ireland eRacing social rides on Zwift will continue on a weekly basis after a successful launch during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Between two and three hundred riders joined Matteo Cigala every week in what offered many a fantastic opportunity to get on their bike in a social setting from the comfort of their own home.

Cycling Ireland social rides will continue every Thursday at 8 pm and is suitable for riders of all levels as the group take on a selection of virtual routes and terrain.

Riders can register on the Zwift Companion App.

Cigala will no longer lead these social rides, but this week launched a new intermediate turbo training programme titled ‘Get Ready For Racing’ on our Training Hub.

The intermediate turbo training programme is aimed at those looking to get back into racing shape ahead of the new season and offers a challenging eight-week schedule.

Exclusive to Cycling Ireland members, the Training Hub offers a a variety of video programmes for riders of all levels including cycling training, yoga, pilates and strength and conditioning.

This series is aimed at more experienced riders, but a beginner’s turbo programme, also hosted guided by Matteo, is available on the Training Hub if you’re looking to build a foundation.
