2024 Cycling Ireland Membership Portal Open
Cycling Ireland are delighted to announce that our 2024 Membership system is now open.
Whether you want to catch up with friends on a spin, tough it out in the bunch racing on the road, rip up the mountain trails, take on the thrill of the banking on track or get some air in BMX, commute to work or prefer to cycle at your own pace, there's a Cycling Ireland membership to suit you.
Our 2024 membership portal is open for club affiliation and renewals as well as for new members to register. 2024 memberships will be valid until December 31st 2024 while existing 2023 Memberships are still valid until December 31st 2023.
Cycling Ireland memberships offer a host of benefits, including insurance cover as well as an array of discounts with our retail partners.
Cycling Ireland members can now avail of a brand new benefit of 20% off a one-year subscription to GCN+ and enjoy their live and on demand coverage of racing across several disciplines.

Insurance
Personal Accident
This cover applies to a member when they are training, **competing or officiating in activities of Cycling Ireland. This includes individual training/leisure cycles, group & club cycles. Medical expenses are covered to a maximum of €2,500 each claim which includes dental expenses up to €2,000. Excess of €250 applies to medical and dental claims. There is also an inner limit of €500 for physiotherapy expenses. Loss of earnings is covered for a maximum of €150 per week for a maximum of 13 weeks with the first week not being covered.*
*Valid competitive membership required to take part in any competitive events
Public Liability (“Third Party”)
This covers a member for any third party liability or property damage for which they are held legally liable. (a third party is a person not accredited with membership of Cycling Ireland) when you are training, competing or officiating in an approved Cycling Ireland activity. (a €500 excess applies to each claim, to be paid by claimant). There is no cover in respect of any injury or damage suffered by one participant caused by another participant during training activities (please note members can still claim the personal accident cover above in this case).

Events | Discount
Cycling Ireland members can enter events without the need to purchase an event licence (one day licence). The type of membership you purchase will determine if you can enter all events, certain competitive events or leisure events.
