UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup Support Races Information
A blockbuster weekend of Cyclo-cross action next month will feature a host of exciting support races on the Sport Ireland Campus ahead of the 2023 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup Dublin round on November 26th.
The best Cyclo-cross riders in the world return to Dublin after a first-ever UCI World Cup event last December saw over 8,000 fans create a fantastic atmosphere in a memorable day for the Irish Cycling Community.
The World Cup is back on Sunday, November 26th, but not before a Cycling Ireland programme of racing on Saturday, November 25th, as Ireland's domestic riders get the chance to tear up the professionally built course before the professionals.
With an already successful start to the 2023/24 Cyclo-cross season in recent weeks, the fast and furious discipline will once again be in the spotlight as the world stops by for another big weekend in Irish cycling.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of the 2023 Cycling Ireland Support Races for the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup Dublin.
The Support Races will take place on the Sport Ireland Campus, Snugborough Road, Blanchardstown, D15 EPN4.
Schedule - Saturday, November 25th
10:00-11:30: UCI Course inspection
11:30-11:50: Cycling Ireland - Training
12:10-12:40: Cycling Ireland - U14 & U16 Men & Women
From 12:40: Cycling Ireland - Awards Ceremony U14 & U16 Men & Women
13:05-13:45: Cycling Ireland - Senior / M40 / M50 / M60 / Women
From 13:45: Cycling Ireland - Awards Ceremony Senior / M40 / M50 / M60 / Women
14:00-16:00: UCI World Cup Official training
16:00-17:00 UCI World Cup riders confirmation, credentials distribution
Entries are open from 8pm on Friday, October 27th, and will close one week before the event.
Members are advised that limited places are available for each racing category and that entries are selling out fast.
Entries to the open race are now sold out while there are limited entries still available for U14 and U16 categories as well as the women's race.
Spectators can attend the Support Races on Saturday, November 25th, without the need for a ticket.
