Sundrive Launch New Women’s Track League During Women In Sport Week

Sundrive Track have launched a new Women’s Track League for riders of all levels, including beginners looking to try out track cycling.

The three-week league offers riders a chance to kickstart their season and gets underway on April 1st, with further rounds on April 15th and 29th. All rounds take place at 2.30 pm at the Sundrive Track in Dublin.

Racing is open to Senior, Master, Junior, U16 Women with a Cycling Ireland licence and will feature A and B categories for racing based on experience.

Each group will have four races per round, with each round always beginning with a scratch race that includes a warm up neutralised element.

Track accreditation is required to participate, more information on accreditation and for dates and registration can be found here.

Please note that track accreditation is a two-stage process, with the first stage to attend a formal accreditation session, and the second stage to attend normal group training.

A Women’s Track Day hosted by Arcane Track Team is set to take place this Sunday, March 12th, and will also include accreditation for those taking part that are new to the discipline.
