Route Descriptions

50k Challenge

The 50km Kinnitty Village cycle will leave Tullamore and cross to Killurin, up to Coolagh Cross, into Cadamstown and have a food stop in Kinnitty Community Centre. From there it will return the same way. The total elevation is 162m, and suitable for all.

85km Base of the Blooms

The 85km Base of the Blooms will follow a bigger loop, taking in the picturesque villages around the Slieve Bloom mountains and beautiful views of the midlands. Starting from Tullamore to Killeigh, Mountmellick, Rosenallis, Clonaslee and on into Kinnitty Village for the food stop and refreshments. From there it will continue the loop up onto Knock Hill and into Ballyboy village, into Mountbolus and then back into Tullamore. Still a relatively flat route of 302m, it is an ideal route for those who like a little distance, but not too much climbing!
