New Cyclo-cross And Off-Road Coaching CPD Events Launched
Cycling Ireland Coach Education and Development are delighted to launch two new Continuous Professional Development (CPD) events for Coaching Cyclo-cross and Off-road.
The new courses represent Cycling Ireland's continued focus on offering certified coaches with increased CPD opportunities and support our coaches' development along the Coach Education Pathway.
The Coaching Cyclo-cross event takes place on October 8th while the Coaching Off-road event takes place on October 14th. Both events are new and Cycling Ireland encourage feedback from participants for future improvements.
The Coaching Cyclo-cross CPD event aims to build upon the skills and knowledge gained from the Foundation Award in Cycling Coaching or Trail Cycle Leader Award whilst introducing coaches to the unique skills of cyclo-cross. The CPD will bridge the gap for those coaches wishing to become a Level 1 Road or Off-Road coach where some skills are similar.
The Coaching Off Road CPD event aims to build upon the skills and knowledge gained from the Foundation Award in Cycling Coaching or Trail Cycle Leader Award and bridge the gap for those coaches wishing to become a Level 1 Off-Road coach. The CPD event will be mainly practical with some theoretical elements.
Limited places are available for both events. To book, participants will need to sign up to TahDah. More information can be found below.
