Junior Men's and Women's Racing Added To Prestigious Road National Series




The 2021 Road National Series gets underway on Sunday, June 20th at the Newcastle Wheelers Road Race in Knockaderry, Limerick. The Road National Series is Ireland's premier domestic road racing series for men and women.


New for 2021, a junior women’s and junior men’s series has been added to the calendar featuring 3-rounds. The opening round is 61.5km for junior women and 85.5km for junior men. Senior men (A1/2) will race over a testing 136.8km course while senior women (all full competition licence holders) will take on a 61.5km course.


In particular, Cycling Ireland is encouraging women and junior riders to register and enjoy the racing opportunity. Prizes are awarded to the top finishers at the end of the series.
