Are you an experienced and dynamic event coordinator with a passion for cycling? Then Cycling Ireland wants you! As the National Governing Body for cycling across the island of Ireland, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee the delivery of a range of national and international cycling events.
As the Event Coordinator, you will have a crucial role in the delivery of event specific aspects of CI’s 2020-2024 Strategic Plan. You will be responsible for developing an annual calendar of competitive and leisure events, planning, organising, and executing a range of cycling events, and overseeing the process for bidding and hosting of major events including National Championships and National Series.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in event management, a strong understanding of event planning, logistics and budgeting, and excellent organisational skills. Experience with event registration software and great communication skills are also required. A relevant third-level qualification in event management, sports management or related areas is desirable, but significant workplace experience will also be considered.

The package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, reflective of the not for profit/sports sector. Flexible working arrangements are available, and travel to events will be a requirement of the role.
