Job Opportunity: Administrative Support Officer (Ulster)


Cycling Ireland (CI), the National Governing Body for cycling across the island of Ireland, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join their team as an Administrative Support Officer (Ulster). This exciting role is based in Ulster and will involve working closely with Cycling Ireland's Development Officer (Ulster) and the Ulster Provincial Board.


As the Administrative Support Officer (Ulster), your responsibilities will include supporting membership growth, assisting with club development, coordinating events, promoting programs, aiding coach education, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining Cycling Ulster communication channels and providing admin support to the Ulster Provincial Board.


To excel in this role, you should be a team player with strong written and oral communication skills. Your attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to adapt to shifting priorities will be crucial. Proficiency in using computer packages like MS Office, Word, and Excel, as well as social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, is essential.


The working hours are 20 hours per week, with flexible arrangements available due to the need to be available out of hours. Travel to other locations may be required as part of the role.
