Ireland Team Named For 2023 Junior Tour Of Ireland


Cycling Ireland can confirm the Ireland team selected to compete in the 2023 Eurocycles Eurobaby Junior Tour of Ireland.


An important event on the Irish road racing calendar, the Junior Tour of Ireland gives Ireland's best young riders the opportunity to race against each other as well as a number of international riders.


Liam O'Brien, Oisin Ferrity, Darragh Doherty, Killian O'Brien and Cal Tutty make up an exciting team of five riders that will represent Ireland in the race, which takes place from July 11th to 16th and will be based from Ennis, Co. Clare.


Killian O'Brien, Tutty and Doherty are making the step up to the national team for the first time while Ferrity and Liam O'Brien come in to the race in good form following the 2023 Road National Championships. 


Martin O'Loughlin, Cycling Ireland International Road Race Coordinator, said: 

"We are delighted to see Darragh, Killian and Cal step up to the national team after some excellent performances this season. This year's Junior Tour has some very strong international competitors and we look forward to fighting them tooth and nail for the overall victory."
