Entries Open for Round 2 of the Road National Series
Round 2 of the Road National Series is now open for entries. The 4 day stage race will take place in Limerick from July 30th to August 2nd. See below some important information and the race schedule for each stage.

Important Information
Race HQ will be at the Longcourt House Hotel in Newcastle West, however each stage will have a Stage Head Quarters.
Due to the expected high volume of traffic in Newcastle West on the Bank Holiday Friday, race numbers, bike plates and timing chips will be issued from the Stage HQ in Knockaderry where it will be easier to access. There will be no race presence at the Longcourt on Friday afternoon.
We would ask teams to bring the minimum team cars to each stage start. Riders are encouraged to ride out from the Race Hotel.
Team Car numbers will be issued from each stage HQ.

Friday July 30th 2021
Stage Headquarters: Village Hall, Knockaderry Co. Limerick
Eircode: V42 XR79
Prologue TT: Number & Timing Chip Collection: 12:00am – 4:00pm
TT Start Times: TBC
Women: 2pm to 2.45pm.
A3/J Start: 3.15pm – 4.45pm.
A+/A1/A2 Start: 5.30pm – 7.00pm
Riders will start at 1 minute intervals. TT start order will be issued 2 days before the Prologue.
The circuit will be available for riders to warm up on at the following times:
1pm to 1.45pm, 2.50pm – 3.10pm & 4.50pm to 5.15pm.
Any riders warming up on the circuit while a TT is in progress will receive a 5 minute penalty.
Note: No TT Bikes allowed. TT to be ridden on road bikes only. Minimum Spokes 12. Aero Helmets allowed.

Team Managers Meeting & Car Number Collection: 8.30am to 9.30am
No sign on. Riders to assemble at assembly point 25m before start line five minutes in advance of their race start time. Riders will be called to the line in race number order. Any rider missing role call will be deemed a non-starter.

Women
Assembly: 9.25am. Start 9.30am. Race Distance 75km. (3 * 25km laps)
Intermediate Sprint @ 10km. Lap 1 only.
KOM @ 20KM. Laps 1,2 & 3.
A+/A1/A2:
Assembly: 9.55am. Start 10.00am. Race Distance 150km. (6 * 25km laps)
Intermediate Sprint @ 10km. Lap 1 only.
KOM @ 20KM. Laps 1,2,3,4,5 & 6.
A3/J:
Assembly: 10:00am. Start 10.05am. Race Distance 125km. (5 * 25km laps)
Intermediate Sprint @ 10km. Lap 1 only.
KOM @ 20KM. Laps 1,2,3,4, & 5.
Team Cars:
Team Cars to wait at Feed Zone ahead of the race start, 1km from start and join race from that point.
Team Car Drivers / Managers please note the following:
Turning Points on the circuit are marked with signs, indicating Turn 1, Turn 2, etc.. In the event of a breakaway Commissaires will provide time checks from these markers which are evenly spaced around the circuit.
In the event of a breakaway, commissaires will indicate if it’s appropriate and safe for a team car to join the breakaway by passing the bunch. In addition there will be exit and re-entry points marked where team cars can safely join a breakaway without the need to pass the bunch. (This note applies on all stages)
