Cycling Ireland Shocked And Saddened Following Death Of John Walsh

Cycling Ireland would like to express its condolences and deepest sympathies following the death of cyclist John Walsh.
The father of three and UCD Cycling Club member passed away on Monday following injuries sustained in a crash with a driver on the Malahide Road in Kinsealy on Monday.
A popular figure among the Irish cycling community, John was UCD club captain as a student and a regular rider in the Mondello Cycling Series held on Tuesday nights.
John is survived by his wife, Olivia, three sons – Andrew, Rowan, and Morgan – and his parents, Norman and Anne, brothers Niall and Louis and sister Helen.
Cycling Ireland offer our condolences to all of John’s family, friends and all club members during this difficult time.
