Cycling Ireland Announce Partnership with Link My Ride

Cycling Ireland is delighted to announce a new partnership with Link My Ride.

Following the recent review of Community Bike Rides, Cycling Ireland has looked at possible platforms to operate the initiative on. The Link My Ride app empowers cyclists of all abilities to find and connect with local activities all over the world, and to effortlessly plan and organise events together.

The app makes ride planning easy by taking the hassle out of organising. Creating and sharing a ride in the app takes just a few seconds, allowing thousands of local cyclists to discover it. Signups and coordination are taken care of, leaving you free to engage with those attending and do what you do best – riding!

There will be an onboarding webinar for Community Bike Ride Leaders on the evening Thursday 7th of March, Cycling Ireland encourage all Ride Leaders to download and familiarise themselves with the app in advance of the webinar.

Speaking about the partnership Interim Participation Manager with Cycling Ireland, Paul Norton said:

“Cycling Ireland is delighted to partner with Link My Ride. Their innovative app will offer our clubs and members more interactive solutions when it comes to advertising their groups rides and attracting new members. I am particularly excited about the potential Link My Ride has to increase participation for our Community Bike Ride network, women only rides, bringing cyclists with disabilities together and the creation of a brand-new concept for youth cycling activities.”

CEO and Co-Founder of Link My Ride, Jacques Sauvagnargues added:

“Participation and inclusivity are at the core of why we started Link My Ride, so we're delighted to be working with Cycling Ireland as they continue to drive these core pillars on behalf of their members. We believe that everyone benefits from a more connected sport, and that through partnering with national governing bodies such as Cycling Ireland we can bring more people along for the ride.”
