Youth Road National Championships head to Cork this weekend

The 2025 Youth Road National Championships head to Munster this weekend, 16th and 17th of August.

Sliabh Luachra will play host to this year’s champs, in association with Fermoy CC. This year’s Time Trial and Road Race will take place on Saturday August 16th based out of Knocknagree, Co. Cork with the Criterium taking place on August 17th at Fermoy Mart.

Race HQ for Saturday will be the Knocknagree Community Centre, before attention turns to the closed circuit racing in Fermoy on Sunday.

Both Sliabh Luachra and Fermoy have made a huge push in recent years to grow their underage member numbers, in road and cyclo-cross in particular, and this opportunity to jointly host a Youth National Championships is testament to those efforts.

Sliabh Luachra’s Tim Murphy said: “This event is a reflection of our shared commitment to the development of young riders and the future of Irish cycling. The host clubs ask that visitors respect Knocknagree, Corrin, and all facilities during the weekend action.”
