Women in Cycling Consultation

Cycling Ireland want to hear from women and girls about what works well and what is needed to engage and retain more women and girls in cycling across the island of Ireland.

Sport Ireland have a policy on Women in Sport which expresses the commitment to women in sport. Sport Ireland have a separate pot of funding to fund Women in Sport projects and initiatives and Cycling Ireland have received funding from this pot in previous years.

Ahead of the upcoming Sport Ireland Women in Sport funding application, Cycling Ireland want to hear from you! This survey will look at the four pillars from the Sport Ireland Policy on Women in Sport - Active Participation, Coaching & Officiating, Leadership & Governance and Visibility.

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes and your feedback will be invaluable to help shape the future of women and girls in cycling.

The answers in this survey will be used to allow us to develop programmes and initiatives to engage and retain more women and girls in cycling.

We welcome all feedback as this will help support the funding application and provide tailored opportunities for women and girls in the future. Please complete a separate survey for each participant.

Please share this survey far and wide, the more people (cyclists and non cyclists) who complete this form, the better!

If you need to get in touch with someone directly, please contact elaine.cahill@cyclingireland.ie

Deadline for completion is 9am Monday 3rd April 2023.
