Team Ireland Schedule - Paracycling Track World Championships

Ireland's 2022 Paracycling World Championships get underway on Thursday, October 20th as the team look forward to a busy week of action in Paris.


A nine-strong team heads to the Championships in search of world honors, with the velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines also set to host the 2024 Paralympic Games.


Three athletes will represent Ireland for individual honors as Ronan Grimes and Chris Burns race the scratch race, individual pursuit and kilo events as Richael Timothy takes on the scratch, individual pursuit and 500m TT - a 200m flying start is added on to make up a four race Omnium for all three riders. 


Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal will race the individual pursuit, Martin Gordon and Eoin Mullen contest the team sprint and 1km TT while Damien Vereker and Marcin Mizgajski race the 1km TT and individual pursuit.

Friday, 21st

MC2 1km Time Trial – Chris Burns 

MB 1km Time Trial Qualifying– Martin Gordon and Eoin Mullen | Damien Vereker and Marcin Mizgajski 

WB 3km Individual Pursuit Qualifying - Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal 

MC4 15km Scratch Race – Ronan Grimes 

WC3 10km Scratch Race – Richael Timothy 


Saturday, 22nd

WC3 3km Individual Pursuit Qualifying – Richael Timothy

MB 4km Individual Pursuit Qualifying – Damien Vereker and Marcin Mizgajski
