Strictly comply with public health guidelines

Cycling Ireland is again asking members of the cycling community to strictly comply with the public health guidelines in place within your locality.

While the vast majority are adhering to the guidelines, Cycling Ireland has been notified by the Department of Health and An Garda Síochána of a small number of cyclists who have ignored exercise restrictions.

Within the Republic of Ireland, the guidelines clearly state that you may exercise within 2km from home only. Those flouting the restrictions may face penalties of up to €2,500 in fines and up to six months in prison.
