Social Media Training for Clubs
Is your club getting the most from social media?
Kickstart 2026 with our specially tailored social media training course. Run across three weeks and completely online, this course will provide you and your club with the toolkit to maximise your social media, giving you confidence and peace of mind.
Cycling Ireland is delighted to be working with Lyn Mutch from Noodlehorse to deliver a series of informative videos to help you and your club maximise the potential of your social media channels.
With over 10 years’ experience in social media, Mutch began her journey as a Content Editor with Chain Reaction Cycles.
Speaking about her career journey, she said:
“My role in Chain Reaction Cycles gave me the opportunity to be so creative about social media and learn loads about the bike industry.
“I got to travel to some amazing live events: the Tour of Britain, the Megavalanche, a lot of Enduro World Series finals. It was incredible.
“I worked with all the best bikes and kit in the world - creating social media videos and more than that, human connection to it. I was obsessed with creating content that engaged people on a human level.
“I love social media and the past 10 years has taught me that it works best when it feels human. People connect with people, not polished perfection.
"There are so many creative things you can do with just the phone in your hand, and in this series of videos, I want to show clubs how simple techniques and small shifts can bring their stories to life online. If your club is doing brilliant things in the community, let’s make sure people see it.”
The course will cover many aspects of social media, from creating your own content, knowing what’s best for which platform, the does and don’ts and much more.
There will also be a competition for four clubs to win a one-to-one session, more details on this will be announced in the new year.
This course is completely free for Cycling Ireland affiliated clubs. Expressions of interest will open in early January.
