Jamie Blanchfield of Premier Endurance is completing postgraduate research, in conjunction with his supervisors Dr. Jean McArdle (Waterford Institute of Technology) and Tandy Haughey (University of Ulster), into the endurance coach and the environment in which they operate, namely those who conduct some (or all) of their work in an online space.

Research aims include:

1. Define what a remote coach is and what their working practices are compared to a traditional coach.

2. Understand the coach-athlete relationship in this context.

3. Determine the lifestyle impacts on the coach within the environment they are coaching in.

As part of phase one of our study we are looking to recruit endurance coaches (cycling, triathlon, athletics etc.) to complete a survey (survey link: https://withealthsciences.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5tfMjtfMAyDy2Vw).
