Places Remain on Upcoming Courses
Cycling Ireland is pleased to offer several upcoming courses, across a range of programmes.
Places remain on two Ride Leader courses, in Co. Wicklow and Co. Kerry.
A Ride Leader plays a key role in guiding and managing group rides, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants. Leaders are responsible for planning routes, leading group activities, and maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere on the road in club/group rides. Their primary focus is to provide safe and enjoyable cycling experiences for people of all levels of ability and age.
The first Ride Leader course takes place on September 13th, at the Bray Wheelers Clubhouse, Ballywaltrin, Co. Wicklow. More information is available here.
The second Ride Leader course is set to take place at the Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee, Co. Kerry, on September 20th. More information can be found here.
Both Ride Leader courses are at a cost of €70.
A Trail Cycle Leader course will take place on September 27th at the Tory Bush Cottages, Kilcoo, Co. Down. This course will enable students to lead groups comfortably on off-road trails, and is presented at a cost of €200. More information can be found here.
Finally, a UCI CDP Level 1 Coaching Course will be presented from the 18th of October at the Cloughmore Centre, Rostrevor, Co. Down. This course provides all the basics needed for beginning your coaching journey. It comes at a cost of €150 and all necessary information can be found here.
