Noel and Kieran Hammond TT returns on August 27 for Time Trial Series Finale

The Noel and Kieran Hammond Time Trial has been rescheduled and will take place on Saturday the 27th of August. The event will form part of a revised Time Trial National Series which features three rounds.

Event organiser, Aidan Hammond, along with Cycling Ireland thanked the relevant local authorities for their support of the long-standing event.

Cycling Ireland CEO, Matt McKerrow said:

“We’re delighted to see this event back in its rightful place on the roads of Wicklow – all credit to Aidan Hammond and Orwell Wheelers for  their hard work in engaging with the local authorities to make this happen”. “Cycling Ireland is well aware of the challenges facing clubs and organisers in dealing with traffic management and related issues – and following these, and the success of the Accredited Marshals Scheme now operating in Northern Ireland, is scheduled to meet with An Garda Siochana in the coming weeks to discuss the benefits of a similar scheme island-wide”.

The next round, the Seven Springs Time Trial, takes place on Saturday the 9th of July. Race organiser, Colm Riordan indicated plans to open for entries in the coming days.
