National Criterium Championships

The 2021 National Criterium Championships took place on Thursday August 19th in Co Limerick. This year’s Championships was hosted by Greenmount Cycling Academy and was held at Limerick Racecourse. 


The evening of racing began with a Masters 50 and Masters 40 demonstration race before the Irish National Champions were crowned in the Elite Women’s and Elite Men’s categories. 


Autumn Collins (AWOL OShea) was crowned champion of the women’s race followed by the O'Brien sisters (Torelli Assure Cayman Islands Scimitar) with Aoife edging Caoimhe to take second place. 


Conor Murnane (UCD Cycling Club) came out on top in the men’s race. Daire Feeley (All human-VeloRevolution) finished in second place followed by Lorcan Daly (Killarney Cycling Club).
