High Performance Management Group Expressions of Interest
Cycling Ireland is seeking expressions of interest to join a newly established High Performance Management Group (HPMG).
The HPMG will provide support to the High-Performance Director on matters relevant to delivery of the high-performance programme. In addition, the group will provide insights and expert advice to the Cycling Ireland Board of Directors in relation to the execution of the high-performance strategy.
Cycling Ireland is seeking applications from individuals have the relevant experience to contribute to the following roles.
- Independent Chairperson
- Independent Member - former elite cyclist (retired in the past 10 years)
- Independent Member – performance background in a non-cycling Olympic or High-Performance Sport
- Independent Member - cycling specific high-performance background
- Independent Member – sports science support practitioner or academic
Please forward a brief cover letter and CV to High-Performance Director, Iain Dyer (iain.dyer@cyclingireland.ie) outlining relevant experience and expertise in high-performance sport. An understanding of the not-for-profit NGB section is desirable.
Positions on the HPMG are voluntary. The group will operate in an advisory capacity as opposed to being a decision-making body.
