French road racing opportunities for juniors

Exciting opportunity for Junior Men in France 2021

 

VC Pontivy based in Brittany France, in co-operation with Cycling Ireland will offer 2 junior men the opportunity to race in France for the 2021 season for 2 weeks (3 weekends) over the Easter break and 2 months (between end May to end August 2021 – time is allowed for you to return to participate in the national RR championships & the Junior tour). 

 

Note: The successful applicants will be expected to adhere to both the Irish & French government COVID-19 guidelines with respect to travel.

 

Interested applicants should submit their CV with a cover letter by COB 31^st December 2020 to racing@cyclingireland.ie

 

Criteria

Riders are expected to be of a good level with regular placings and a willingness to learn & work with others.

 

Applicants should provide the following information:

•         Road race results for the past 2 seasons

•         Any laboratory test results

•         Current coach (if any)

•         School education year

•         Proficiency in French (understanding & ability to speak French)

•         Foreign racing experience (if any)

 

VC Pontivy shall provide:

•         Collection at nearby airport

•         Accommodation in an apartment in Pontivy

•         Transport to races

•         Race nutrition

•         Club clothing

 

Juniors cost:

•         Return Flights

•         Daily living food costs
