European Youth Olympic Festival
Cycling Ireland is pleased to produce the nomination criteria for the European Youth Olympics, taking place in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia from July 24 -30 2022.
Participation in the European Youth Olympic Festival is open to all European young athletes nominated by their National Olympic Committee, Olympic Federation of Ireland (OFI) (selection is conducted by OFI) and that is a member of the EOC, subject to the current EYOF Charter and EOC regulations on age categories and quotas for each EYOF edition.
Cycling Ireland is tasked with nominating a team of up to 3 girls and 3 boys with a non-travelling reserve of each. (OFI and CI reserve the right not to send a full complement.)
The 2022 edition will feature the following events: Road Race and Road Time Trial.
The event is open to youths born in 2006/7
The selection events are:
27th March PJ Logan
24th April Waller Cup
30th April Kanturk Stage 1 Road Race
1st May Kanturk Stage 2 Time Trial
Detailed criteria will be announced prior to the first event.
