Experienced marketer Emma Hunt-Duffy has been appointed to the Board of Cycling Ireland




Emma holds a BA in International Marketing with Languages (French and German) and Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations. With a wealth of commercial experience, Emma leads the marketing department in Fyffes and has previously held senior marketing positions at Keogh’s Crisps, EBS and Ryanair.


Emma’s specialization in product marketing, brand strategy, people management, new product development, procurement and communications will be of great value to the board of Cycling Ireland.


Emma’s appointment is a first step  towards addressing the gender balance on the board. One vacancy remains on the board with the process to recruit a further suitably qualified female candidate underway.


The Board of Cycling Ireland is now comprised of the following directors: Liam Collins (elected President November 2021), Anthony Mitchel (Secretary), Eugene Moriarty (Treasurer), Brendan Tallon (Vice President), Conor Campbell (elected November 2021), Marcus Dowling (co-opted December 2021), Noel Mulroy, Carl Fullerton and Emma Hunt-Duffy (co-opted January 2022).
