E-Sports Winter Series Round 2 Results


Round 2 of this year’s Winter E-Sports Series took place last Friday evening. Riders took on the 30.2km Figure 8 course in Watopia. The course featured 255 metres of climbing.


General Classification


Derek Feehan retained his place at the top of the Cat 1 General Classification, with a Round 2 time of 00:40:48, bringing his overall time to 1:00:42. Streamstown Cycling Club’s Colin Clavin sit’s second, one minute behind Feehan, with Aaron Johnson of North Argyll CC sitting in third two seconds behind Clavin.


Mark Cannon sits atop the Cat 2 GC standings at 00:43:39, just five seconds ahead of Dungarvan’s Tony Kenneally. Crossgar’s Stevie Stranney sits third.


Conor Marshall leads Cat 3 on GC, with a time of 00:43:57. Crossgar’s Gerard Murray is second with Annagh Wheelers’ John Guilfoyle in third.


Lucan’s Mark Harewood is top of Cat 4 ahead of Padraig Kenny in second and Trim’s Martin Milner in third.


Another Lucan rider leads the GC for Cat 5, in Brian Ebbs, ahead of clubmate Richard Hart in second and Apollo’s Claire Young in third.


Points


The Points competition is again led by Derek Feehan in Cat 1, with Clavin and Johnson in second and third respectively.


Tony Kenneally also leads the points for Cat 2, ahead of Mark Cannon and host club Racing Without Borders Joseph Whelan in third.


Cat 3 Points competition is led by Connor Marshall, while St. Tiernan’s Daragh O’Toole sits second with Phoenix CC rider Niall McFarland in third.


Mark Harewood leads the Points Classification for Cat 4 ahead of Martin Milner in second and again Padraig Kenny sits third.


Along with leading the General Classification, Brian Ebbs leads the Points competition for Cat 4. Richard Hart and Claire Young again sit second and third.

Round 3


Round 3 takes place this Friday, November 21st, as riders take on the 27.7km Elevation Evaluation.


It’s not too late to enter this year’s Series. Riders must enter the series via Eventmaster here, before entering individual rounds through Zwift directly.
