The Irish Downhill National Series second round takes place this Saturday, 31st of August and Sunday 1st of September in Bree, Co. Wexford.
Having recently hosted the Downhill National Championship,
showcasing some fantastic trail building and a brilliant weekend of racing,
hosts Bree Mountain Bike Club are sure to have cooked up something special for
this weekend.
Coinciding with the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships
this week, there are sure to be some IDMS regulars missing, but despite this,
entries are filling up fast. Riders still looking to enter can grab one of the
last remaining spots here.
As always, full face helmets are mandatory. Knee elbow, back
protection and gloves are strongly advised for all riders and
mandatory for all under 18 riders in line with Cycling Ireland
regulations.
Riders that competed in Round 1 in Carrick are also reminded to bring their race number plate.
