Cycling Ireland seeks volunteer for Audit, Risk, and Finance Committee (ARFC)


Are you passionate about governance, finance, and safeguarding the future of sport? Cycling Ireland is seeking a dedicated and skilled volunteer to join our Audit, Risk, and Finance Committee (ARFC). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the integrity and success of Irish cycling.
About the Role:
As a member of the ARFC, you will:
  • Provide expert oversight of Cycling Ireland’s financial management, risk frameworks, and audit processes.
  • Support the organisation in upholding strong governance and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with a committed team to ensure sustainable financial planning and risk mitigation.
Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for individuals with:
  • Expertise in finance, accounting, risk management
  • Experience in committee or board-level roles (desirable but not essential).
  • A strong commitment to ethical governance.
Time Commitment:
The committee meets approximately six times per year, with some additional time required for preparation and consultation. Meetings are held virtually.
