Cycling Ireland Achieve Sliver Diversity Award

Cycling Ireland has successfully achieved Investors in Diversity (IiD) Silver, awarded by the Irish Centre for Diversity, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive and supportive environment for its staff, members, and wider community.

The Silver accreditation is valid until February 2028. Cycling Ireland successfully meet the requirements, following employees’ participation in the IiD Silver Survey and a Diversity and Inclusion maturity assessment, benchmarked against both national and sector specific standards.

With a participation rate of 81.6% in the Silver Survey, the assessment provided a reliable and representative picture of the organisation’s current diversity and inclusion maturity.

Cycling Ireland received an inclusion score of 79.4%, slightly above the National Benchmark on 78%. The results highlight a positive and inclusive culture, reflected across several leadership and employee experience metrics.

This report provides Cycling Ireland with a clear, evidence‑based understanding of how employees experience diversity and inclusion across the organisation.

It highlights strengths, such as strong inclusive leadership, high scores in recruitment and progression, and an overall Inclusion Score above the national benchmark, indicating where policies are working well.

The report also provides an insight into areas where improvement can be made, helping to shape future policies and decision making. The results from the Silver Survey provide a strategic tool for continued growth and improvement.

Achieving the Silver accreditation demonstrates that Cycling Ireland is not only meeting diversity and inclusion expectations but also progressing toward deeper cultural integration—a key step for organisations aiming to achieve Investors in Diversity Gold in the future.
