A Lust for Life is an award winning youth mental health charity with a focus on early prevention education and mental health promotion. Their mission is to empower and educate all young people in Ireland through early preventative mental health school programmes.
As well as joining Bressie and the team on the cycle you can get involved in the Rising by donating or organising your own fundraiser.
Why support The Rising?
The mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in Ireland is ever-declining with many experiencing an unprecedented level of stress and anxiety. The consequences can be devastating.
A Lust For Life have developed preventative mental health school programmes, which teaches children from the earliest age how to enhance and protect their mental health.
Since launching in 2020, their digital free of charge primary schools programme has been delivered in over 3,500 classrooms with a reach of over 92,000 children nationwide.
The funds raised last year contributed to the development of our Junior and Senior Infants Programme which is launching nationwide in August 2024 in time for back to school. They now wish to raise funds to develop our secondary school programme starting with 1st year!
