Cross Country World and European Championships Expression of Interests Open
Expressions of Interest are now open to cover both the UEC European and UCI World MTB XCO championships for cross-country MTB.
This year Monteceneri in Switzerland hosts the UEC European Championships over 29th July – 2nd August, and then focus switches to renowned Italian venue Val di Sole for the UCI World Championships from 26-30th August. Selection will be held in accordance with our regular National Team Selection policy available here: CyclingIrelandNationalTeamSelectionPolicy2026.pdf
As is typically the case, for International selections candidate athletes will be expected to evidence their competitiveness in recent international competition.
Please note that this process extends only to MTB XCO. CI Off Road Commission are leading on MTB DH selections for these events.
