Free Bike Week in a Box Resources
As part of Bike Week 2026 Cycling Ireland has put together Bike Week in a Box – a resource for teachers across the country.
Bike Week in a Box is an easy-to-follow, practical guide for schools and teachers who want to celebrate cycling through fun, engaging in-class and yard activities. Download the English and Irish versions below.
Munster Regional Development Officer Stevie Griffin, along with Connacht Regional Development Officer Eoghan McArdle Ruane, was integral in bringing these resources to life, and said: “We’re really excited to be able to offer these resources for free to schools across the country, in both English and Irish. We were able to draw from resources already available on Cycling Ireland's Coaching Resource page, things like the games and cycling skills activities, but we really wanted to create something that was easy to follow and immediately recognisable, whether a teacher was coming to it with no experience whatsoever or one of our coaches or Cycle Right tutors was picking it up and getting straight into the content.”
The Bike Week in a Box resources are available for free here.
