9 riders to represent Ireland at the Mountain Bike World Championships 




A strong team of riders have been selected for the Mountain Bike World Championships from 24 to 28 August in Les Gets, France. 


National Champion, Ronan Dunne will be hoping to make his mark at the World Championships following an impressive 4th place finish in round 6 of the Downhill World Cup in Snowshoe (USA). 


Dunne will be joined by Henry Kerr, Jacob Dickson and Niall Clerkin in the elite ranks with Chris Cumming and former Junior Downhill World Champion Oisin O’Callaghan making a return from injury. 


Daniel Lappin and Scott Roberts will fly the flag for Ireland in the junior men’s downhill category while Travis Harkness is the sole representative for Ireland in cross-country, competing in the junior men’s category.
