28th Annual Trip to Tipp aims to be largest tandem sportive ever in Ireland

The 28th annual Trip to Tipp takes place on Sunday, 29th September, in memory of Lorraine Shanahan.

Organised by the Blazing Bikers' Billy and Katriona Shanahan, in association with Vision Ireland and Cycling Ireland, this aims to be the largest ever tandem sportive in Ireland. Any and all tandem pairings are welcome, and have a choice of two distances: The Glen of Aherlow Challenge will be 120km, while the Scenic Tour of Tipperary will be 60km.

Both routes cost €40 to enter with all proceeds going to Vision Ireland. The event sets off from SR Ursula Memorial Hall, Sports/Concert Complex, Templemore Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary E41 ET35.

Paralympian Damien Vereker will be taking part in the event and sharing his cycling story.
