The 2024 BMX National Series will kick off on April 7th and will feature five rounds.

  • Gazebos/ Club Tents

    Should be booked in directly with the host club of each round, details to be found on the registration posts.

  • Race Plates

    All riders must have the correct front and side plate visible on their bikes, no plates no race no exceptions. Riders should contact their clubs if they need to get replacement plates. Please use the following guidelines for number plates:

    Men/Boys - Yellow plate with Black numbers

    Girls/Ladies - Blue plate with White numbers 

    Cruisers - Red plate with White numbers 

    Plate - Height 20cm Width 25cm

    Digits - Height 10cm Line width 1.5cm

    Side plates - White with Black numbers 

    Side plate digits - 8cm


    These combinations make it easy for your number to be read correctly and scored properly. 



  • Transponders

    All riders must have a transponder on their bike as we now use the Sqorz timing system. Most riders have now bought their own Mylaps transponder but if a rider does not have a transponder there will be transponders available to hire on the morning of the event. It is a riders responsibility to ensure that their own transponder is activated and subscription has been renewed if necessary.



  • Race Numbers and Registration

    All riders must have a race number displayed on their bike. Race numbers can be applied for here.


    All riders will register via Eventmaster for each round, so will need a valid Cycling Ireland 2023 license to register

  • Clothing and Gear

    All riders must wear the correct clothing and protective gear, full face helmets and gloves are compulsory.

  • Prizes

    Prize giving takes place at the end of each round.
