Club Toolkit and Resources

We are excited to announce we’ve been working hard on developing a toolkit to support clubs with engaging and retaining women and girls. This resource will provide clubs with information from current research on the barriers and motivators identified by females and recommendations for actions which could be implemented. We explore how to engage and retain women and girls into cycling and give tips on how marketing and communication can help with this process. We provide case studies of clubs where they have actively increased their female membership and what has worked for them. We also provide a club development plan and other useful resources which we hope will be of benefit to your club.

A workshop will be held to compliment the toolkit and bring what’s discussed in the toolkit to life. The first workshop will be held on Thursday 25th March at 7pm via Zoom and is free for affiliated Cycling Ireland clubs to attend. This workshop is now fully booked.

If you’re interested in attending the next workshop please email bikelikeme@cyclingireland.ie and we will let you know when the next one will be taking place.

The full toolkit will be emailed to your club and will be available on our website shortly.
