Girls Get Active Hackathon

Did you know that many teenage girls across Ireland are missing out on the benefits of sport and physical activity because they don’t think they are “sporty enough”, they don’t know where or how to get involved, and they don’t think there are opportunities for them to be involved in sport other than traditional team sports?

Sport Ireland are running a Hackathon this April, giving members of the public a chance to have their say and to help create programmes to tackle the challenge of inactivity among teenage girls.

Are you passionate about promoting sport and physical activity? Do you have any ideas that could be turned into a programme for teenage girls? If so, register here for the Girls Get Active Hackathon which will commence on April 16th.
