Teaching a child to cycle
Is it time for your child to learn to cycle? Or time to venture further afield on the bike?
Either way Cycling Ireland has prepared a set of resources and videos to help you and your child enjoy the experience of learning to ride a bike. The goal is to build confidence and independence.
And once there, we will help you with important tips on how to support your child’s ongoing learning while keeping them safe on the bike and on the road.
So, from getting on the bike … to striding … then gliding … on to starting … and pedalling… we’re with you every stage of your journey. Come along with us on ours.
Step 1 - Taking off the pedals
