How to manage your Cycling Ireland club

2020 Renewals Process

Club affiliation is now processed online through the Cycling Ireland Azolve portal. Existing clubs will already have access to the portal and can find instructions on affiliating by clicking here

Members seeking to set up a new club should contact Cycling Ireland by using the Contact Us page and selecting the option New Club Setup.

Clubs will also need to pay the relevant club affiliation fees, which are as follows:

Before 31st December 2019: €150 / £135
Before 31st January 2020: €200 / £180
Before 29th February 2020: €250 / £205
After 1st March 2020: €300 / £270

In addition, clubs in Munster, Leinster and Connacht will need to pay a provincial affiliation fee. The provincial fee is set by each provincial committee and the funds are used to support and develop cycling in that area. The fees for 2020 are as follows:

Munster: €150
Leinster: €130
Connacht: €140

This fee is collected by Cycling Ireland along with the club affiliation fee and is then distributed to the provinces. Clubs in Ulster don't pay this provincial fee, however an extra €11/£10 charge is levied against each member.

These fees can all be paid online and to speed up the renewals process, we encourage all clubs to do so. Secretaries can log in using the button in the top right hand corner of the page and set club fees online as well. This means that clubs have the option (using Stripe) for members to pay their fees to the club online - Cycling Ireland will collect their portion of the member fee and the club will collect their portion. Each fee will go directly to the relevant body.

Club officials can now choose whether or not new members applying for membership of their club will be automatically approved or will require approval from a club official. These settings can be changed in the Club Details and Affiliation tile of a clubs portal page.

Club secretaries may also notice that members can request transfers into and out of the club. A club secretary will have 21 days to accept or reject this transfer. An example of a reason for rejecting a transfer out of your club would be that the member owes the club money, or is holding club gear.
