Club Affiliation 2021
2021 Renewals Process
From 25th November 2020 Club affiliation
will open for 2021 and is processed online by the nominated Club Secretary
through the Cycling
Ireland Membership portal.
Members seeking to set up a new club should contact Cycling Ireland by using the Contact Us page and selecting the option New Club Setup.
Club affiliation fees,
are as follows
- Provincial Fee: Cycling Ireland Affiliation: *€150 / £135 (Plus applicable Provincial Fee)
- Provincial Fee:
o Munster: €150
o Leinster: €130
o Connacht: €140
* Late payment fee of €50/£45 after 1st January
Clubs in Ulster don't pay this provincial fee, however an extra €11/£10 charge is levied against each member. The provincial fee is set by each provincial committee and the funds are used to support and develop cycling in that area. This fee is collected by Cycling Ireland along with the club affiliation fee and is then distributed to the provinces.

Club Affiliation for 2021 will open on November 25th 2020. There will be a number of steps required in order to complete affiliation. It is important to be aware that the listed club secretary will be responsible for affiliating the club and completing all steps.
In accordance with Cycling Ireland technical
rules in order for a club to affiliate there are a number of requirements
· Have a minimum of 6 members
· Have a Club Secretary, Chairperson, Treasurer & Youth Safeguarding Officer (if you have U18 members) as a minimum, all of whom must be a cycling Ireland member.
· Have a Club Constitution
· Have a Safeguarding Statement (if you have U18 Members)
· Have a Safeguarding Risk Assessment (if you have U18 Members)

Pay the appropriate
Affiliation & Provincial Fee
The system will close for a number of days prior to opening for
affiliation. Upon reopening all Club Officials, bar the current listed club
secretary will be ‘reset’ to the basic membership account
Upon logging in to the Membership system the Club Secretary will be
required to:
Step 1
- Pay the Cycling Ireland Affiliation & Provincial Fee
- Upload Essential Documents - Template available below
o Club Constitution (Template)
o Child Safeguarding Risk Assessment Statement (Template)
o Child Safeguarding Statement (Template)
Step 2
- Ensure a minimum of 6 members for 2021
o Create a 2021 membership for a minimum of 6 members, to include all club officials (if not already renewed for 2021)
- Re-assign core officials
o Treasurer
o Chairperson
o
Safeguarding Officer (if you have U18 members in your club)
Step 3 (optional)
If you already have your Club membership fees & stripe connected you will not be asked to complete this step
- Pay Set up Club Membership Fees
- Connect Stripe (to collect payment of Club Membership fees)
We will open for 2021 membership renewal also on Wednesday the 25th November. Each member will receive an email within a week letting
them know that they can renew for 2021. At the recent AGM changes to membership
structure were voted in.

you have and help you navigate through the new system. If the time and dates
