Sprocket Rocket and the Giro

Sprocket Rocket and the Giro
This spring Sport NI and Cycling Ireland will be bring Sprocket Rocket skills to the schools along the Giro route. Teachers in 250 schools will be given a pack with all the resources required for coaching cycling, and they will have instructions on a number of cycling games that are appropriate for children aged 5-11, incorporating all the Sprocket Rocket skills - Balance, Braking, Cornering and Pedalling.

With Activ8 Sport NI are doing a big push to get kids thinking bikes and cycling in the lead up to the Giro. Check out the below art competition they are running.
