Cycling Ireland and iDMe Come Together with Great Offer for Members22/10/2016
Discounted Safety ID Wristband for Cycling Ireland Members
Cycling Ireland and iDMe have come together to offer a significant discount to Cycling Ireland members on safety wristbands. Cycling is one of the fastest growing sports and activities in Ireland, and with more and more people out on the roads, Cycling Ireland recognises the need for people to carry identification in the case of an incident. The iDMe wristbands can easily be updated, and include options for the cyclist to enter any medication they cannot take, as well as including an emergency contact number.
Cycling Ireland are offering Cycling Ireland members the option of purchasing the wristband for a discounted price of €4.50 when they renew their licences. The wristbands that normally retail at a price of €12 have been proving extremely popular with cyclists and athletes nationwide and a limited number of items will be available for Cycling Ireland members.
CEO of Cycling Ireland Geoff Liffey is excited to bring this offer to Cycling Ireland members; “We are delighted to come together with iDMe to offer a limited number of Cycling Ireland members at a special discounted price for the Safety Wristbands. As cyclists, safety is of the utmost importance, and these wristbands ensure that all cyclists have ID and emergency contact numbers on them at all times, without having to carry personal documents. These are wristbands that we feel many of our members would be interested in, and with them being available at the check-out point when buying a licence means that purchasing them is straightforward. We’d advise people to get in fast, as there are only a limited number available at this price.”
Dee O’Leary, founder of iDMe, said “Carrying your I.D. is as important as putting on your seat belt when getting into car, or strapping on bike helmet to go for a ride. You are never more vulnerable than when you are out on the road, be it as part of a group cycle or an early morning solo run. If you participate in any kind of sport or road training then you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to carry I.D. and let iDME speak for you if you are unable to. Our wristbands are waterproof, durable and easily updateable, holding all your relevant contact or medical information securely inside, the perfect ID companion in case of emergency.”
This exciting opportunity will be available when the new system launches in November.
